The Good News for the Gregory Clan is that we don't tend to bothered by gluten, since bread is definitely a well loved part of our diets.  We had a virtual food event, every group showing up to our weekly zoom with a wonderful food for our virtual show and tell.  Below are products of this venture.  

Laura's contribution to this event was an amazing Greek bread called Paximadia.  It's crunchy twice baked bread, sometimes referred to as Greek biscotti.  It is often served with soft cheese and honey which Laura shows below and she also added some fruit.  She used the recipe from Beth Hensperger's Bread Machine Cookbook.  However, there are also many recipes for this special bread on line.  

Ryan is clearly very comfortable in the kitchen.  He has both academic and practical skills, both of which should serve him well.  The cinnamon bread was quite impressive and clearly a hit with the other male members of the Tock family.  Click here for the recipe he used.    

My husband and I had a very tasty dish, though it was an easier one.  We bought a very good baguette which we toasted.  My toast had a simple spread of whipped cream cheese and chives before I added the smoked peppered salmon.  Fred stuck to the recipe and added some mustard and chopped onion to the cream cheese.  They were really delicious.

​Ashima created a lovely cinnamon bread in her new apartment!  She was able to make her tasty creation even though she didn't have a bread pan yet!  I'm sure there will be many more wonderful creations coming from that small kitchen.
