Cranberries are certainly a stable at holiday meals and there many sauces and relishes. This is one of my favorites.
12 oz of fresh cranberries 1 organic navel orange (organic is important here, since you'll be eating the skins. 1/2 cup - 1 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of pecans or toasted walnuts
Rinse the cranberries and add to a food processor. Cut the orange into 4 - 8 sections and remove the seeds. Add the sections, with the skins to the food processor. Since orange size and sweetness varies you can add 1/3 cup of sugar and taste to see how much more sugar is needed. Then add nuts and pulse to desired consistency.
