Recipe
Ingredients:
_____ Cooking spray
_____ 1/3 cup butter or margarine
_____1/2 cup sugar
_____ 1/4 cup light corn syrup
_____ 2 teaspoons vanilla
​______2 eggs
_____ 1/2 cup flour
_____ 1/3 cup cocoa
_____ 1/2 teaspoon salt
​_____ 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

      5.  Both will bake and check brownies
Timing Tips:
The brownies should be put in the oven before the guests sit down for the first course.
1.  Preheat oven to 350o;  spray the pan with cooking spray.
2.  Combine the butter or margarine and sugar in the large bowl and mix until creamy.
3.  In a small bowl, beat the two eggs together and then measure and add the corn syrup, vanilla, mixing well.   
4.  Combine egg and sugar mixture and beat until well blended.
5.  Measure and add the cocoa, flour, and salt.
6.  Stir until incorporated, then fold in nuts.
8.  Pour the batter into the baking pan.
9.  Bake the brownies until a cake tester comes out clean, about 25-30 minutes.  Let cool, cut into squares and serve.
