Ingredients:
1 medium onion 1 tsp. oil 10 oz. of frozen corn 10 oz of green beans 1 15 oz can of garbanzo beans 1 15 oz can of kidney beans 8 oz. can diced tomatoes 1/2 cup chopped celery 1 TBSP of brown sugar 1/8 tsp. of cayenne pepper 1 1/2 TBSP of parsley 1/4 tsp of rosemary 1/4 tsp of tabasco sauce 6 cups of low sodium chicken broth 1 large peeled and diced potato |
Utensils:
Cutting board Knife Large Pot Chop onion and fry in 1 teaspoon oil in a large pot . Add all the rest of the ingredients, except the potato, to the mixture. Simmer for at least 20 minutes, add the potato and cook for 30 minutes more
This is a very flexible recipe. You can substitute the type of beans and vegetables you like or happen to have on hand.
