1 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice
12 oz fresh cranberries
(rinse well before using)
Measure and combine sugar and juice in a medium sauce pan. Stir until sugar is dissolved and then add the cranberries.
Cook over medium heat, stirring. Cranberries will begin to pop and the mixture will begin to thicken. Remove from heat when the cranberry sauce reaches the desired thickness. Chill and serve.
