Ingredients: 1 cup pretzel twists, broken in small pieces 1 1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats 2 1/4 cups Chocolate Cheerios 1/3 cup roasted, salted almonds 2 1/2 Tablespoon butter 3 cups miniature marshmallows 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter* Cooking spray
In case of peanut allergies, other nut butters may be used.
Directions: 1. Break the pretzels into a 1 cup measure and put it in a bowl. 2. Add the oats, cheerios, & almonds to the bowl, mix well. 3. Melt butter in a medium pan, then add marshmallows and peanut butter, cook at least 3 minutes until smooth, stirring constantly. 4. Remove mixture from heat and working quickly, spread mixture into an 8-inch square metal baking pan coated with cooking spray. Using a wet spoon, spread mixture evenly: let stand 1 hour or until set. Cut into 16 large pieces or 32 small ones.
