Ingredients
______ 1/3 cup whole wheat flour ______ 3/4 cup minute rolled oats ______ 1/2 teaspoon baking soda ______ 1/4 teaspoon salt ______ 3 Tablespoon Blood Orange Olive Oil* ______ 1/3 cup packed brown sugar ______ 1/2 cup dried cherries ______ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract ______ 1 egg ______ 2 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Measure and combine the the flour and the oats into a bowl. 3. Measure and add the baking soda and salt to the flour and oats and stir together 4. Measure the olive oil into a medium bowl. 5. Measure and add sugar and mix until completely combined. 6. Add sugar mixture to flour mixture and blend well. 7. Beat egg in the emptied medium bowl and blend into the flour mixture. 8. Coarsely chop the cherries. 8. Measure and fold in the vanilla, cherries, and chocolate. 9. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet with parchment paper. 10. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool for 3 minutes and put on wire racks. |
