Ingredients:
Baked 9" pie shell 1 quart hulled stawberries 3 Tbsp cornstarch 1 cup sugar 2 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/8 tsp. salt Whipped Cream |
Directions:
Crush half the berries with a masher or fork. Stir in the next four ingredients. Cook over medium heat until thickened and clear. Cool. Cut remaining 2 cups of berries in halves, saving 6 whole berries for garnish. Fold into cooked mixture and chill. Serve garnished with whipped cream and saved berries. |
